Dr. Mark Cloth grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1976. He received his DDS degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1980. Dr. Cloth spent 23 years traveling all over the world as an Army Dental Officer. He earned his Graduate Orthodontic Training certificate in 1993 after practicing 11 years as a general dentist, and was assigned to a 5-year teaching position as a full time mentor at the Post Doctorate 1-Year Advance General Dentistry Residency Training Program at Fort Benning, Georgia. Just prior to retirement he was assigned to Saunders Dental Clinic at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York where he provided orthodontic services to U.S. Military Academy cadets. Colonel Cloth retired from active military service in 2003.
Dr. Cloth loves the water, especially sandy beaches, boating, water parks and hot tubs. Dr. Cloth loves to play racquetball, ping pong, putt putt golf and his favorite sports pass time is watching professional tennis.
Dr. Cloth is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He is proud to serve the residents in Charlottesville and Staunton, VA with the orthodontic care they deserve. |
